Events administrative assistant
Salary: 18k per annum, DOE

Overview:
Working across the entire Event Group Portfolio, you will be involved in delivering various events including B2B Trade Exhibitions, Conferences and Awards ceremonies across the UK. Working as part of the team you will provide vital administrative support across all event activities, and involved in the planning and operations supporting exhibitors, visitors, suppliers and internal teams.
2023 is busy year for Rapid News Group with three large trade exhibitions and two awards ceremonies. You will be joining an organisation with the upmost integrity and the role will demand excellence and diligence at every stage of the event operations process.
The role requires individuals to be detail oriented, task minded with the ability to work to deadlines, working individually or as part of a team. Although it would be advantageous for candidates to have experience working in the event industry, this is not required.
This is a great role for anyone who is interested in Events/Hospitality who is self motivated positive and ambitious.
Responsibilities:
Providing daily information on new orders for exhibition space and keeping corresponding information and revenue spreadsheets up to date.
Updating and maintaining online exhibitor manuals.
Updating and maintaining all event floor plans.
Assisting in the processing & confirmation of exhibitor information and to monitor exhibitor response to ensure all necessary information is received.
Assisting in preparation and distribution of exhibitor promotions and collateral such as show guides, VIP tickets, access passes, welcome packs etc.
Work with Marketing & Event Sales team to deliver on any sponsorship fulfilment
Responding quickly to requests from delegates, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors pre-event and on-site.
Strong and effective customer service to exhibitors, in-house teams and sponsors
Coordinate wider event team project meetings, creating and circulating agendas and producing and distributing meeting minutes.
