With this in mind, Education Through Inspiration is the overarching theme of the Med-Tech Innovation Conference for 2017 with representatives from a variety of blue chip users, government officials and industry experts taking to the stage to offer their expertise and insight.
Topics covered will range from IoT, research and development to 3D printing in medical technology, patient focus, data-driven methodology, improvement, working with the NHS, challenges, opportunities and so much more.
We will hear from revered industry pioneers including Professor John Fisher of the EPSRC Centre for Innovative Manufacturing in Medical Devices, Brigadier Timothy Hodgetts from the Ministry of Defence, Microsoft’s Sean O’Shea, René Martin of Stratasys and Boston Scientific’s Giovanni Accardo.
Day Two will feature a very special presentation from the newly appointed Chairman of Medilink UK, William Cruise who will draw on his 30 years’ experience with 3M to explore creativity, innovation and collaboration as keys to developing novel medical devices to improve patient outcomes and manage healthcare costs.
